He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Beck Rich and Albert Reed Rich; and his brothers, Albert "Zip" and William "Bill". He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gorham Rich; his daughters, Julie Rich, Ellen Rich, Sarah Hall, Susie Allison (Dan) and Carol Payne (Gill); his grandchildren, Jessie (JJ), Matt (Meghan), Karen (Joey), Bonnie, Scott, Jarrod (Leah) and Tori; his great grandchildren, Eli, Ellie, Macailyn, Manning, Mathen, Malloy, Jonas, Johnathan and Scarlett; and his friend Jessica Cain.
