It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond W Morningstar of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Morningstar; and his children, Ann Lawson and Michael Kilgore. He is survived by: his children, Jim Morningstar of Lee High, FL, Jeannie Morningstar-Tippin (Kent) of Reading, PA and Barbara Moore (Roger) of Kingsport, TN; his children-in-law, Shirley Kilgore of St Charles, MO. and Bob Lawson; and his siblings, Richard, Kenny, Larry Mussig, Arnie Jenkins, Darlene Byers, Melanie Seman, Margaret Markle and Burma Campanale. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sullivan Baptist Church Building Fund at 4152 Maplewood St, Kingsport, TN 37660.
