She was predeceased by: her husband Dana Burns; her son Robert Burns; her parents, Rass Light and Theola Light; and her brother Kermit Light.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Spears (Ike) of Kingsport; her grandchildren, Melissa Spears, Cindy Chandler (Bobby), Rick Burns and Bobby Burns (Michelle); and her daughter-in-law Anne Burns. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
