She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton Patton Baker and Bertha Quillen Baker; her husband Carroll Clark Freeman; and her sister Linda Odle. She is survived by: her daughters, Janelle Houser (Rick) of Birmingham, AL and Michelle Cartee (Buddy) of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren, Ben Houser (Rachel), Marilyn Roman (Victor), Justin Houser (Kourtney) and Pete Cartee (Dena); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Jack, Caleb, Roslyn, Amelia, Gemma, Emmy and Zayda; and her sisters, Mary Ruth Sumner, Wanda Johnson and Teresa Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Holston View Cemetery (226 Yuma Rd, Weber City, VA 24290). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
