Though Phyllis Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Phyllis Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. E. Hawkins and Ethel (Hall); and her brother Virgil Eugene Hawkins. She is survived by: her niece Brenda Sams (Jerry); her nephew Harold "Hoppie" Hawkins; her great-niece Hope Hawkins; her great-nephews, Austin Hawkins, Joshua Dykes (Tonya) and Aaron Sams; and also Brady Chatman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Church Hill Memory Gardens Church (208 Lane St, Church Hill, TN 37642).
