He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Sandidge Wood and Paul Junior Wood; and his son Jeremy David Wood. He is survived by: his wife Karla Ford Wood; his children, Paul Luke Wood (Emily) and Emily Elizabeth Wood; his grandchildren, Collin, Grant Wood and Charlcie Wood; and his sisters, Pauletta McKenzie (Charles), Martha Simmons (Wayne) and Pamela Fink (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
