She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Harvey Chapman and Dora Ellen Price Chapman; and her brothers, Clyde, Charlie, Ray, Bobby and Earl.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Lloyd Hickman; her daughter Teresa Turner (Chuck); her granddaughters, Amanda Brooks (Ryan) and Cyerra Bedingfield (Mitch); her great grandchildren, Madisyn Brooks, Brynlee Bedingfield and Dylan Brooks; and her sister-in-law Coleen Chapman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
