He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Arlo and Norma Pendleton (France); his former wife Maxine Pendleton (Ash); his wife Eula Pendleton (Hammonds); and his siblings, Evelyn Adams, Mildred Templeton, Elizabeth Bellamy, Bernice Solomon, Bennie Bishop, Margaret Sneed, Jim Pendleton, Curt Pendleton and Eugene Pendleton.

He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Pendleton (Bonny) of Corryton, TN, Paul Pendleton (Evelyn) of Bluff City, TN and Mark Pendleton (Susan) of Knoxville, TN; his stepdaughter Rebecca Banton (Ron) of Jonesborough, TN; his siblings, Claudia Byrd of Kingsport, TN and Rayford Pendleton (Martha) of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren, Matthew Pendleton (Andrea) of Blountville, TN, Joshua Pendleton (Katie) of Bristol, TN, Ashley Rhea (Colby) of Kingsport, TN, Megan-Renee'Pendleton of Blacksburg, VA, Avery Clark (Zeke) of Orlando, FL, Sloan Banton of Greenville, SC, Marlo Ward (Jonathan) of Macon, GA, Seth Carden of Scottsdale, AZ, Maggie Carden of Murfreesboro, TN, Jamie Owens (Mike) of Rocklin, CA, Emily Haire (Daniel) of Knoxville, TN and Ben Bradley (Tiffany) of Augusta, GA; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Hunter, Emersyn Pendleton, Noah, Oliver Rhea, Vivian, Tatum and Gentry Clark. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
