She was predeceased by: her son Michael "Mike" Hatton; her parents, Walter Waits and Bertha Waits; her siblings, Willard Waits, Frank Waits, Louise Waits, Jody Rhea, Betty Sue Short and Mimalee Ferguson; and the father of her child William "Bill" Hatton.
She is survived by: her brother Garnie Waits of Kingsport; her granddaughter Kasi Ann Hatton of Kingsport; and her niece Robin Caldwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
