She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Edward Nelms and Frankie Jane Pendleton. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Garrett; her children, Melissa Garrett of Asheville, N. C. and Hugh Edward Garrett (Katey) of Simpsonville, SC.; and her grandchildren, Jack, Ava, Arthur, Nora Frances and Hugh Nelms.
