She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Blaine Trivitt and Mary Burns Pack Trivitt; and her husband Bert Byer. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Sutherland (Scott) of Charlotte, NC and Mike Byer of Kingsport, TN; her granddaughters, Annie Bingham (Brady) of Charlotte, NC and Julia Sutherland of Chicago, IL; and her sisters, Betty Quesenberry of Blacksburg, VA and Carole Clarke of Suffolk, VA..
