She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Wood and Lula Wood; her husband Aubrey Carpenter, Sr.; her siblings, Mabel, Dorothy, Ruth, Gloria Ann, Doris, Billie Sue, Wayne, Eugene and Clinton; and her children, Jeffery, Ronald and Angela.
She is survived by: her children, Aubrey Carpenter Jr. (Tobey), Donna Bowers (Raymond) and Erika Carpenter; her close friend Mary Burns; her sisters, Betsy Ann Pierce and Frances Graves; and her sons, Donald Davenport and Melvin Drumgoole. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
