Martha J. Newman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha J. Newman of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Jarnagin and Laura Moore Jarnagin; and her siblings, Paul Jarnagin, Woody Jarnagin, Robert Jarnagin, Ronald Jarnagin (Buster), Pat Moore, Viola Jarnagin, Charlscie Snodgrass, Ruby Neil Snodgrass, Betty Hopkins and Mary Jarnagin.
She is survived by: her husband Richard G. Newman; her children, Tammy Wright (John) and Richard S. Newman (Lisa); her grandchildren, Justin Wright (Tori), Megan Carter (Emmett), Aaron Carter (Michael), Jordan Newman, Austin Newman and Peyton Newman; and her great grandchildren, Oliver Kanipe, Ezra Wright, Jackson Wright and Ellison Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greater Outreach Church of God (39496 Veterans Mem Hwy, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
