He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Hewitt Jones; his parents, Malcolm McKinley Jones, Sr. (Mac) and Margaret Bowman Jones; and his brothers, John Clifton Jones of Hampton Roads, VA and Harry Lambert Jones of Baileyton, TN..
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Marie Jones of Grand Bay, AL, Malcolm Timothy Jones of Kingsport and Alice Suzanne Jones (Jeff Zoller) of Jasper, TN; and his grandchildren, Maggie Jones, Ben Jones, Kiley Dunn, Jacob Zoller (Anna) and Thomas Zoller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee or the USO.
