She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Ceasar Williamson (Boyd) and Gertie Mae Canterbury Williamson; her grandson Allen K. Forrester; her great grandchildren, Peyton and Preston Franklin; her great great grandchild Ashton Forrester; her siblings, Wilda "Midge" Harmon, Jackie Williamson, Rebecca Hatfield, Maple Jean Williamson and Paul Williamson; and her stepsons, Jack, Jim, Russell and Harold Mays.
She is survived by: her spouse E. B. Mays (Boyd); her children, Wanda Forrester of Poplarville, MS, Robert Forrester (Lisa) of Gate City, VA, Wetzel Forrester of Gate City, VA, Linda Robinson (Harold) of Kingsport, TN and Brenda Davis (Jimmy); her stepdaughter Margaret Mays Dishner; her stepdaughters-in-law, Dot Mays, Janice Mays and Brenda Mays; her grandchildren, Len Marshall (Angelle), Shannon Marshall (Lisa), Michael Marshall (Joanna), Chris Robinson (Louann), Vicki Housewright (Brad), Steve Davis, Paul Forrester, Melissa Davis, Laura Forrester, Brandon Robinson (Christy), Elizabeth Smith (Mark), Amber Leonard and Joey Robinson (Jessica); her stepgrandchildren, Rebecca Moody, Debby, Eric, Allison, Rusty, Karen, Tony and Kristie Mays; her sister Mary Jane Ledford; and her close friends, Cathy Forrester and Sue Walters. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, several loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
