She is survived by: her husband Donald Castle; her daughter Rachel Van Orden (Donna Van Orden); her grandchildren, Alex, Christian and Rylee LaJoie; her children-in-law, Joshua and Jessica LaJoie; her sisters, Betty Garst (Danny), Amy Cross (Daryl) and Pam Davidson; and her sisters-in-law, Regina Estepp (Stan) and Sherrie Quillen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House in memory of Kim Castle.
