She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit "Doc" Dykes and Kathleen Benton Dykes; her husband Jerry Yakley; and her sister Sharon Lynn Hicks. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Overbey (Phillip); her granddaughters, Presley Ann Overbey and Elizabeth Jewell "Buffy" Overbey; and her sister Robin Lawson. She is also survived by several nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
