With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia C. West of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julia C. West to pay them a last tribute.
Though Julia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Julia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Boyd Cyphers, Sr. and Mildred Cyphers; and her husband Lacy West. She is survived by: her siblings, Boyd Cyphers (Sharon), David Cyphers (Patty) and Jeannie Wax (Sam); and her stepchildren, Thomas L. West, Marilyn Turner and Betsy West. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Julia C. West Foundation, established to continue her legacy by supporting local education and arts, as well as efforts to support animal welfare, all causes Julia cared deeply about.
