She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whiten and Nannie Belle Whiten (Larkey); her husband Clyde Brooks; her brothers, Kenneth Wayne Whiten and James B. "Jim" Whiten; and her nephew Stephen A. "Steve" Whiten.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Leah Ann Qualls (Jeff), Debbie Whiten (Rick Jackson), Shirley Whiten, Ed Whiten (Gwen) and Greg Whiten (Donna); and her sister-in-law Delores B. Whiten. She is also survived by many great nieces, and great nephews; as well as several close cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Judy's name.
