He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe, Sr. Davis and Nina Davis; his wife Laura Davis; his siblings, Phila Mansur, Mary Hall and Elton Davis; and his great grandchild Sullivan Davis.
He is survived by: his sister Doris Birdwell; his sons, Joe Davis, III (Lorenia), John Davis and Mike Davis (Manuela); his grandchildren, Amanda Ingram (Robert), Clint Davis (Ashley), Brooke Davis, Ben Davis (Jessika), Autumn Shands (Jarrett), Melissa Dearmon (Chad), Erin Davis and Jack Davis; and his great grandchildren, Ryann, Cole, Griffin, Conner, Gwyn, Anna Ruth, Bond, Madison, Beau, Berwyn, Layla, Lynley, Beckham and Presley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
