It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Wheat Robinette (Kingsport, Tennessee), who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Lester and Lois Mallie Wheat; her husband John Robinette, Sr.; and her siblings, Joe, Paul Wheat, Mildred Johnson, Patsy Covey and Wanell Wheat.

She is survived by: her daughter Libby; her son-in-law Anthony Weatherly; her sons, John Jr. (Kristin Robinette) and Ocala; her grandchildren, Bekah Rose, Zeke, Seth and Levi; and her brother Greg Wheat. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sevier Heights Baptist Church, 3140 Maloney Road, Knoxville, TN 37920.
