He was predeceased by: his former wife Ann Barnes; his children, Becky Repass and Randy Barnes; his siblings, Patsy Whitaker and Bobby Barnes; and his son-in-law Darrell Fugate.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Fugate, Angie Garber (Kevin) and Kenneth Barnes (Michelle) of Livona, MI; his grandchildren, Heather Duncan, James Jones, Randy Garber, Kayla Price, Jessica Henley, Tiffany Fugate, Alex, Jacob, Joey and Rebecca Barnes; his great grandchildren, Mason Henley, Annaleigh, Axel, Abigail, Aurora, Brooklyn and Brayden Barnes; his fiancée Margaret Ferguson of Kingsport; his sisters, Janice Fannon and Peggy Skeens; and his close friend Jason Younce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
