It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Charles Quillen of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Nina Marie Elliott Quillen; his siblings, James E. Quillen (Bimbo) and Lois Quillen Castle Keebler; his brother-in-law Alvin M. Clark, Jr.; and his mother-in-law Jean White Donelson.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Donelson Quillen; his daughter Sara Grace Quillen (Tyler Wilcox); his sisters, Linda Quillen Clark and Lana Marilyn Quillen Cole; his niece Marlene Hite (Robert); his nephew Kevin Michael Estep (Erica); his great-niece Heather King (Hunter); his great-nephews, Ethan and Luke Estep; his father-in-law Eugene Ray Donelson; his siblings-in-law, Ron Donelson (Candy), Mike Donelson, Gale Keebler, Lisa Long and Michelle Donelson; and his nieces and nephews, Morgan Hipes (Travis), Madison Donelson, Tiffany Long, Brittany Dodgen (Adam), Michella Lawson (Jake), Jake Donelson (Nikki), Bryr Donelson and Cody Donelson.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 7:00 AM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:15 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holston View Cemetery (226 Yuma Rd, Weber City, VA 24290).
