He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Francis V. Canty and Myrtle Greer Canty; and his brother Jonathan. He is survived by: his pets, Harper and Boomer; his wife Judy Williams Canty; his children, Karen Prillhart (Alan), Elizabeth Dunn (Lee) and Mark Canty (Christi); his grandchildren, Dr. Alexis Kutz (Zack), Dr. Cameron James Prillhart, Zachary Dunn (Riley), Lucas Dunn, Ruby Canty, Olive Canty, Austin Thompson and Maddy Sexton; and his great grandchild Graham Francis Kutz.
