He was predeceased by: his parents, James Malcom Gissendanner and Elizabeth Gissendanner; and his brothers, Jerry, Mike and Ricky Gissendanner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gissendanner; his stepchildren, Ken Ragsdale, Brandy Cassady (Joe) and Aaron Terry (Christine); his grandchildren, Alexia Gissendanner, Madison Gilbert (Jonathon), Gracie Smith, Mathew Ragsdale, Kenley Ragsdale, Benton Ragsdale, McKaylen Pierce (Matt), Aly Cassady, Victoria Terry and Sam Adkins; and his great grandchildren, Leilani and Loyal Gissendanner.
