With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Clevinger of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Clevinger and Flossie Clevinger; his stepfather Carter Meade; his son-in-law LeRoy Hardee; and his stepbrother Tommy Meade.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Clevinger; his children, Cindy Clevinger Hardee and Ed Clevinger (Vicki); his brother Ernest "Red" Clevinger (Charlotte); his nephew Anthony "Tony" Clevinger; his niece Julia Chatman; and his cousin Sandy Renner.
