She was predeceased by: her parents, William Patton and Ethel Patton; her husband Marvin Meredith; her siblings, Nathaniel Patton, Herman Patton, Linda Sue Patton, Hilda Ellis, Thelma Garcia and Shirley Hansford; and her siblings-in-law, Junior Meredith, Charles Meredith and Carole Meredith of Danville, KY.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Gerald Meredith; her daughter-in-law Diana of Kingsport, TN; her daughter Sherry Meredith Munger; her son-in-law Dr. Ted Munger IV of Allen, TX; her grandchildren, Jason Meredith (Carolina) of Kingsport, TN and Jessie Smith (Tyler) of Nashville, TN; her great grandchild Maria Diana Meredith; and her siblings, Dr. Paul Patton (Carol) of Columbia, KY and Wanda Frederick (Garry) of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
