With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Delorres Bishop of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 4, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wrightly Smith and Janie Taylor Smith; her son Bartholomew "Bart" Bishop; and her brothers, Kent Smith, Ralph Smith and Dwayne Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Benny Bishop; her children, Abby Black (Justin) and Ben Bishop (Erica); her siblings, Ward Smith, Dale Smith, Valerie Fisher, Janet Kennedy and Larry Smith; and also Tim Wooten. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
