She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wallen and Pearlie Wallen; her husband Robert Darter; her brothers, Rufus and Roy Wallen; her granddaughter Andrea Jill Jackson; and her great grandchild Lyric Skye Barnette.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Jackson, Rhonda Barnette and Jeff Darter; her grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Holly Jackson, Daniel Barnette (Maggie) and David Barnette (Ali); her great grandchildren, Jackson of Jace, J. J., Jeremiah, Tate and Bella; her brothers, Jack Wallen (Paulette) and Bill Wallen (Sue); and her friends, Elizabeth Looney and Jean Salyer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
