He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Anderson and Gaynelle Potter Anderson; his daughter Melinda Anderson James (Allen); and his siblings, Carol Anderson Smith and Gary Dean Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Peterson Anderson; his daughter Jodie Anderson (Doug); his grandchildren, Katie James, Victoria Cole, Sophia Harvey and Jesse Cole; his great grandchild Jazlynn Harvey; his son-in-law Al James; and his brother Robert Anderson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
