He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vincent Grindstaff and Dorothy Jean Fox Grindstaff. He is survived by: his husband Jeffrey L. Cox; his sister Susan Grindstaff Crowder (Bobby); his sister-in-law Wendy Gamble; his brothers, Richard Grindstaff (Joanne), David Grindstaff and Mark Grindstaff (Patricia); his close friends, June Cohen, Brian, Stacey Barker and Phil Smith; and his pet Pancho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
