It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmund Craig Carroll of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bayard Horton Carroll and Beulah Faye Darnell Carroll; his uncle Steve; and his aunts, Jenelle Carroll and Marjorie Freeman.
He is survived by: his cousins, Becky Barnett (Doug), Sandra Hardin and Madolyn Norton (James).
His expertise and contributions to the racing world were recognized, and he was known to have traveled extensively throughout the eastern United States, fueling his passion for drag racing.
