He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Martin (Rosa Barton Martin); and his wife Alma Wood Martin. He is survived by: his half-sister Trulie Mae Thomas Chance of Roberson County, N. C.; his stepchildren, Mark R. Wood, Martha Wood (Steve Clark) of Fall Branch and David R. Wood (Sandra) of Colonial Heights; his grandchildren, K. C. Bartley (Emily) of Fall Branch, Carrie Glover (Rob) of Gray, Lucas Wood of Sullivan Gardens and Ryan Wood of Johnson City; and his great grandchildren, Hailey and Taylor Bartley.
