It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy C. Deal of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Dante, Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Deal; her daughter Ellen McConnell; her grandson Wesley Deal; and her parents, William Clevenger and Ella Mae Bass Clevenger.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Deal, Glenna Williams (Curt), Dennis Deal, Victoria "Vicki" Estep and Cathy McConnell; and her sisters, Evelyn Salyers and Betty Dunham. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
