The passing of Doris Ruth Lowry of Kingsport, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 21, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Dean and Ada Dean of Pennington Gap, Virginia.; her son Frank Arnold Lowry III (Arnie); her sisters, Geneva "Billie" Hensley (Frank) and Sue Matlock (Jim); and her brother-in-law Hal Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Arnold Lowry, Jr.; her daughter Cindy Edwards (Shawn); her grandsons, Adam Edwards (Madison) and Luke Edwards; and her sisters, Sylvia Brown and Beatrice Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Et Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Et Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
