It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Bowman of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orgie Jones and Rilla Jones; her sons, Gerald Lynn and Richard Allan Bowman; and her brother Bob Jones.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Bowman; her daughter Sheila Sims; her grandson Cody Dennis Sims (Kaylyn); and her great grandchildren, Bentley Gage, Cody Dennis Sims Jr. and Raegen Mckenzie Sims. She is also survived by one granddaughter; along with two great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
