With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald M. Dingus of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Dingus and Stella Dingus; his son Jared Dingus; his wife Patty Dingus; and his siblings, James, Roy, John, Rosella, Betty, Marie, Ruby and Royce.
He is survived by: his daughter Trinity Dingus; his grandson Jacob Dingus; his brother Dannie Dingus (Leta); his close friend Carolyn Gilliam; his sister-in-law Johnnie Mae Dingus; and also, Kim and Angie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
