He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kilgore and Gertrude Kilgore; and his nephew Matthew Harp. He is survived by: his wife Betty Masters Kilgore; his children, Donna Dobyns (Joe) of Jefferson City and Matt Kilgore (Allyson) of Kingsport; his grandchildren, Trey Dobyns of Chelsea, Carly Dobyns Ownby (Keith) of Strawberry Plains, TN, Taylor Kilgore and Tanner Kilgore of Kingsport; his brother Lindsay; and his sister-in-law Susan Harp.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to First Baptist Church of Kingsport, TN designated to the Upward Sports program for scholarships or the Providence Medical Clinic.
