He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Salyers and Macie McNeil Salyers; his brother Johnny; and his granddaughter Haley D. Clark. He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Kimberly Salyers Coffey (Gary), Kecia Salyers, Kelli Collins and Keith Salyers (LeeAnn); his grandchildren, Joshua Adam Collins, Jessica Coffey Miller (John), Madison Rose Salyers and Kaia Lauren Salyers; his great grandchildren, Cayden Duke, Carson Miller, Vivianne Greenwood and Malakai Jordan; his siblings, James E. Salyers, Betty Bishop and Wanda Lawson; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Potter and Jenny Salyers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (2101 Stadium Dr, Kingsport, TN 37664). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Broadcast Ministry at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2101 Stadium Drive, Kingsport, TN 37664.
