He was predeceased by: his parents, Worley Adams and Lola Adams. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Lykins (Lee); his grandsons, Luke Lykins (Victoria) and Lindon Lykins; his siblings, Georgia Franklin, Sandra Dalton, Carolyn Vaughn (James), Patsy DeFoor, Lois Dalton (Mitchell), Donna Sams (Mike), Ray Adams (Darlene) and Tommy Adams (Carolyn); and his close friend Hagen Bowen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
