He was predeceased by: his wife Marie H. Fields; his parents, Roscoe Fields and Mary Bell Fields; and his siblings, John Fields of Wayne Fields, J. B, Mary Fields and Gladys Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Rogers (Fred) of Kingsport and Kathi McCarver (Marshell) of Hixson, TN; his sister Carrie Fields; his grandchildren, Jared, Sheena Rogers, Joshua, Tracy Rogers, John Rogers and Brittany McCarver; his great grandchildren, Shane, Morgan and Iyla Rogers; his great great grandchildren, Carter, Colton, Aubree and Ace; and his caregivers, Sharon Hopkins, Jai Seinor, Tracy Grindstaff and Sheena Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rogersville American Legion.
