He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Prior and Mayetta Beard Pinkston; his siblings, Harry Gaines, Jerome Horton, Stephanie Price, Ann Price and Teresa Beard Cole; and the mother of his children Wilma Jean Williams Prior.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Brittany Porambo; his children, Alicia Fields, Margie Prior, Curtis L. Prior I (Sandra Duff), Brandi N. E. Prior and Shawn Burgess; his grandchildren, Crystal Potter (Josh), Christopher Porambo, Ashlei Porambo, Akeem Prior (Marshe Bonaparte), Joycie Hagan, Jasiah Duff, Jeremiah Duff and Ava Prior; his great grandchildren, Elaina, King, Raven, Alexandra, Laila, Charlee, Maliyah, Azzlyn and Londyn; and his siblings, Deloris Hawkins (Nathaniel), Sandra Gadson (Richard), Vera Ruff (Dwight), Ronnie Gaines and Johnny Brown.
