She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Massengill and Minnie Winstead Massengill; her husband David Gordon Gehman; and her nephew Eddie Williams. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Statzer, Marjorie Palmer and Anna Palmer; her siblings, Paralee Goins, Annie Nell, G. C. Bledsoe, Mary Massengill and Elvis (Anita Massengill); and her grandchildren, Cyndi Statzer, Heather Palmer, Miranda and Steve Lawson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
