He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thurston and Charlotte Thurston; his sister Lee; and his close friend Karen. He is survived by: his wife Colleen of Valentine's Day; his daughters, Iona and Kris Thurston; his sisters, Rita and Michelle; and his close friends, Randy Crouse, Chuck Lewis and Aaron Williams. He is also survived by numerous brother and sister in laws as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
