With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Ann (Byrd) Yerke of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Byrd and Hazel Byrd; and her siblings, Wallace Byrd, Brenda Connington and Steve Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Earl Yerke of Kingsport; her children, Gary Yerke (Rhonda) of Fall Branch and Karen Hart (Darrin) of Elizabethton; her siblings, Norman Byrd of Wartburg, TN, Christine Schmeltzer of Val Paraiso, FL and Allen Byrd (Patsy) of Florida; her grandchildren, Jammie Fleming of Fall Branch, David Yerke of Mt. Carmel and Meranda Hart of Elizabethton; and her great grandchildren, Rebecca Fleming of Kingsport and Andrew Karaitis of Fall Branch.
A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 9:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
