With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles William Bishop of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on May 18, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bishop and Della Bishop; his wife Joyce Bishop; his parents-in-law, Graham and Edith Cecil; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Legg, Michelle Bishop and Pressley Legg.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Bishop (Danielle) of Davidson, NC. and Jason Bishop (Danielle) of Kingsport; his grandchildren, Chase Bishop, Desirae, Emerson Bishop, Kennedy Bishop and Ashlan; his brother Larry Bishop; and his great grandchildren, Emmy and Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it has been requested that any memorial contributions be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church or a worthy charity of choice.
