She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Smith and Phyllis Smith. She is survived by: her children, Emily Thompson (Ethan) and Matthew Kilgore; her grandsons, Owen, Oliver and Grady Thompson; her siblings, Sandra Colombo (Claude) and Gary Smith (Jayne); her nieces and nephews, Beverly Smith, Morgan Smith, Katianne Taylor (Robert), Casey Irwin (Blake) and Charlie Colombo (Hallie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, K. B. Miriam, Remington, Reese and Andi.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Knollkreg Memorial Park (556 Walden Rd NE, Abingdon, VA 24210). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kingsport Chamber (400 Clinchfield St, Kingsport, TN 37660).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Girls Incorporated of Kingsport (P.O. Box 981, Kingsport, TN 37662).
