He was predeceased by: his parents, Huble H. Wines and Mattie V. Isham; and his siblings, Buddy, Johnny Miller, H. H. Wines, Jr., Frances Sands, Katheryn Wines, Helen Pitt and Myrtle Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Janice D. Wines; his sons, Jerry and Bret Wines; his grandchildren, Dylan, Jeremiah and Kaydance; and his sister Margaret Ferguson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Washington County Memory Gardens (113 Memory Gardens Rd, Johnson City, TN 37615).
