She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Tankersley and Frances Johnson Tankersley; her husband Curtis Absher; her siblings, Dewey, George Tankersley and Rosie Roberts; and her nephew Ralph Roberts.
She is survived by: her nephews, Mcarthur (Susan Roberts), Landon Roberts and Matthew Absher; her niece Shirley Saltz; her cousins, Lisa and Harmie Johnson; her daughters, Brenda Baker and Lisa Osborne; and her grandchildren, Simon Baker, Sarah Christian and Destiny Johnson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church (2049 Greenway St, Kingsport, TN 37660).
