With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Salley (Kingsport, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Betty left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Kelsey Clonce and Ruth Adams Clonce; her husband James W. Salley; and also Grant Kelsey Clonce, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Hooks (Mike), Patty Salley and Tim Salley (Kim); her grandchildren, Laura Cook (Logan), Lindsay Richards (Michael), Michael Jay Hooks (Raina), Leslie Salley (Robyn) and Jacey DeVaughn (Conor); and her great grandchildren, Audrey Richards, Leah Cook and Lucy Richards.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Betty's name to the American Heart Association or the American Stroke Association.
